The Minister's Cat

This game helps develops a student's sense of Rhythm, as well as Giving and Receiving offers.

Student's stand in a circle, and in unison start stepping on the spot in a four beat rhythm (The best way to achieve this is to have students step left-together, back-together)

Once this rhythm is in unison and not speeding up, someone starts the chant "The Minister's Cat is a (blank) cat".

(blank) = an adjective to describe the cat. The first person begins with the first letter of the alphabet, and each subsequent person moves on to the next letter of the alphabet.

After each person offers their new chant, the whole group has to repeat it, trying their best to match the rhythm and delivery of the original.
